UTS ServicePros performs door and window warranty service on behalf of manufacturers. If UTS is contacting you, it is because the manufacturer of your door or window asked us to carry out service they approved. You did not hire us and you are not being sold anything.

## Is there a cost?

Not for warranty work. If the manufacturer has accepted the claim, the service is arranged and paid for under that warranty. Work outside what the warranty covers is quoted separately and only proceeds if you agree.

## The timeline a contractor works to

- **Within 3-4 business days** of the work order, the contractor must reach you. Every attempt is logged.
- **Within 7 days**, a confirmed inspection date agreed with you.
- **Within 14 days**, the inspection submitted with photographs.
- **Within 5 days of the parts arrival estimate**, a repair date; completed within 10 days.

## What you are entitled to expect

- A photo identification badge worn on site, and an appointment confirmed in advance
- A responsible person aged 18 or over present at the property; a contractor will not work with the homeowner away from the residence
- Flooring, walls and surfaces protected, and residue cleaned up before leaving
- Care with parking - no parking on the lawn, no blocking you in, no damage to the drive or beds
- No smoking on the property, no alcohol, no family members or pets brought to the job
- No soliciting of additional work during the visit

## Nobody will promise you a replacement

The contractor documents what is wrong and reports it. Whether a component or the whole unit is replaced is the manufacturer's decision, not the contractor's. Anyone promising a replacement on the doorstep is committing a company that has not agreed to it.

## If something is not right

Call (972) 633-6806 or email service@utsservicepros.com. Worth reporting: a contractor without photo identification, an unconfirmed appointment, conduct falling short of the standards above, or an attempt to sell you additional work.
